    Establish the current state through structured evidence gathering, configuration review, health checks, documentation and analysis.

    Review

    Examine the evidence to identify risks, gaps, duplication, technical debt, inefficiencies, dependencies and opportunities.

    Recommend

    Define practical, evidence-based and prioritised recommendations addressing the identified risks and opportunities.

    Validate

    Test and challenge the proposed approach to confirm that it is technically appropriate, workable, secure and aligned with governance and operational requirements.

The methodology provides a structured, end-to-end approach to understanding the current state of an environment, identifying risks, gaps and opportunities, defining and recommending improvements, validating the proposed approach, supporting implementation, and ensuring the resulting environment meets the required standards of quality, governance and operational effectiveness.

ARRVIQ is technology-agnostic. It is currently applied to Atlassian environments, but it is not defined as an Atlassian methodology.
